So, the last weekend of the rugby season is almost upon us. All the major league finals, including the first Magners League final will take place on the same day, providing an intense few hours of top quality rugby (hopefully :P)

    Super 10 - Benetton Treviso vs. Viadana/Rovigo - Stadio Mario Battaglini, Rovigo - 5pm
Top 14 - USA Perpignan vs. ASM Clermont Auvergne - Stade de France, Saint-Denis - 8pm
Guinness Premiership - Leicester Tigers vs. Saracens - Twickenham, London - 5.30pm
Magners League - Leinster Rugby vs. Ospreys - RDS Arena, Dublin - 6.30pm
Super 14 - Bulls vs. Stormers - Orlando Stadium, Soweto
    - TBC

I'm certainly going to be wedging myself in the pub for a while for that!

    Predictions anyone?
I'm going for Clermont, Leicester, Leinster and the Stormers. Quite fancy Treviso to beat either of the other teams left in Italy (fyi, second leg of the second semis is tomorrow).

    Super 10 - Don't know
    Top 14 - Clermont
GP - Saracens (I hope Leicester win though)
    ML - Leinster
Super 14 - Stormers (I fancy an upset)

Kinda nice to see the french top 14 being contested by teams that irish sides put out of the HEC.

Maybe we haven't fallen that far behind...

Can only see the ML and T14 matches myself.

Can't see past a Leinster win, and hoping that Clermont will FINALLY win a T14 final.

For me I'd like to see the following results:

Super 10 - Haven't seen any S10 but going for Treviso
    Top 14 - Clermont
    GP - Saracens
    ML - Leinster
Super 14 - Haven't seen much S14 this year but will go with Bulls

I am astonished at the lack of coordination between the various leagues and/or broadcasters over the KO times, especially the fact that the Magners and Guinness finals overlap.
I'm looking forward to catching the 2nd half of the Top 14 final after the RDS, but would love to see the Leicester v Saracens game live. The Super 14 final Kicks-off at 16.05 so will watch that, though I find Super 14 rugby far less fun to watch than northern hemisphere rugby.

Remember that ML and GP are totally separate Leagues with separate broadcasters (Setanta/S4C/BBC2W for ML; Sky Sports for GP). Matches regularly clash/overlap on TV e.g. Saturday tea time KO's (GP -Sky; ML - S4C). What probably is of greater nuisance to Sky is that they have to put Super 14 final on the red button as it overlaps with both Rugby 7's and GP final.

Totally agree. GP Final one of the best club matches all season.

Fantastic first 25 minutes in the game and an amazing end to the game

Can't get a stream but 13-6 to Clermont at HT.
Update: Clermont win their first title 19-6.

Clermont claim their first Bouclier de Brennus. Thats two teams that have been labelled underachievers that have broken their hoodoo today :)

    Really delighted for Clermont. :)

You couls see how much it meant to them to finally break their duck, the normally reserved Vern Cotter was in tears.

Are you talking about the Ospreys, the team who have won the magners league more times than any other?

You mean the same team who have 3/4 of the Welsh team, the biggest budget in Wales and never gotten anywhere in the HC. Then yes they've definitely underachieved.

As a side note to the strength of the HC , the Opreys/Tigers pool of death has produced 3 out of 4 winners of the domestic leagues and viadanna just lost out in Italy.
