Just wondering this myself the other day. In the short time that i've been here havn't heard of one. There should be a few meet ups before gigs though, might get the best turn up then.

Been here a while and haven't seen one. Do know theres a Pearl Jam one where quite a few here will be attending, although not specifically a r/m meetup.

Sounds like a neat idea, if it took off it would be great if it could be in various locations as opposed one area* all the time.

    * = Dublin :( not really feasible for meself

Any good metal bars outside Dublin, that are near a cheap hotel that people not from nearby can sleep in?

I could possibly be tempted to this...

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

I'd be well up for a meet-up as long as it's not in Dublin although I might be in the minority there. Cork or Galway would suit me perfectly.

There's a thread on that very subject right here (okay, it doesn't have hotel information but the drinking location is more important ;))

Okay folks, I've added two threads to the forum. This one for where to have the meet-up and this one for when to have it.

Please get voting and posting onto both threads and let's see if we can't get it off the ground.
