    Hi all
My car stereo has an AUX option on its menu but there's no AUX socket in the fascia at least... I want to be able to plug in my iPod cos there's always static when I use a radio receiver with it.

I'm thinking maybe the AUX socket is in the back of the stereo- is this common and how hard is it to remove a stereo?

It's quite common, especially with older head units that were designed before the iPod thing took off. Most stereos are easy enough to remove. What car is it?

There is probably a DIN socket on the rear of the unit.

    It's a Blaupunkt Modena CD53.
I've just been out with my head under the dash looking at the back of the stereo and can't see an AUX socket, or even where the RCA wires go in. I looked in the glovebox too, just wires there too.

Blaupunkt will use CD-changer connection point as AUX. AUX cable can be bought in e-bay or maybe even in Halfords.
