    Hi folks,

Bit of an odd bargain alert for this one :) I picked up an Ikea Leksvik TV Cabinet yesterday for €119. Its normally €159 but if you use the Ikea family card (which is free to sign up for) its on special offer for €119.

It's solid wood (except for the hardboard backing) and has tonnes of space inside. So far I've gotten a DVD player, Yamaha RX-V765 amp, XBox 360 & Charger and my PS3 into it and still have loads of room (at least 50% is still empty!). Plus there's a nice gap between the shelves and the back so the majority of cabling can be kept internally to avoid any mess or clutter.

Looks decent. Wondering whether an Xbox/PS3 would overheat in it though causing RRD and YLD?

I drilled some extra holes in the back for circulation and you can always keep the doors open but there's about a 1 cm gap between the top of the unit and the doors to allow for airflow.

I'd frost the glass in the front and leave the back off. I have something similar and I leave the front doors off but thats because I love the look of my kit!!

Just basically overheating of the Xbox 360 and PS3 (which breaks them) usually caused by using them in tight enclosures like this cabinet.

It's where your beloved PS3 goes to the great gaming place in the sky due to the cheap solder degrading due to the heat generated by the machine, the warmer your machine is due to poor ventilation etc, the quicker you'll be reading the last rites.
