    when you say back up do you mean if your stery fails and you need another weapon for the day or in case you run out ammo.

    If its the second option you'd prob be better off with a pistol, smaller easier to carry.

    I have both a scopion and MP5k, i used to bring the scopion out a good bit and its a cracking little weapon, but i never used it i lays down a fair volume of fire but its not ver accurate

    i would imagine the mp5 has better range and accurecey, although i've never used a skorpian in a skirmish,

    The skorpion is lower powered.

    Accuracy would be better with the mp5k also, but neither are sniper rifles.

    The skorpion is a bit smaller too, and the mags are a lot smaller.
