Hey, I've just obtained my first provisonal license and I'm aware of the 6 month wait before being able to attempt the driving test.
Does this mean i cannot apply for it until 6 months from now, or can i apply for it now and be put on a waiting list for suitable date in the future?

I'm anxious to get on the road as soon as possible on my own to drive up and down from college after summer, at the weekend for work.

    Thanks :]

you can do the test anytime after 6 months after getting your learner permit, so apply for it soon.

Make sure to say you aren't available till your 6 months are up. They may send you a date for before the 6 months and you'll have to cancel it, this could be an issue if you need to cancel again for whatever reason.
