How to change Apple Account on Iphone?

    I was wondering could somebody help me please. I recently purchased a second hand iphone but I'm unable to download any Apps as the previous owners account keeps coming up. I did some research and read that if you logged on to itunes with your account and the re-synced the phone,that would change it but it didn't. I also read that if you went in to settings/gerneral settings/reset and Reset All Settings, that would change it but it didn't.
    Can anybody advise me please on how to do it. Thanks

    You just need sign out of that account and sign in with yours. I use 2 account on mine. Or am I misunderstanding your question:)

    That would do it wouldn't it. I'm an eejit,I didn't know you can sign out from your phone. Just did it there under settings/store/. Thanks for you help.

    will the apps from the previous account still work if ya sign in with a different one

    Yes the apps still worked but I kept getting warning messages about the apps being synced with another computer. In itunes I had to keep going in to 'store' and "authorize computer". I eventually just removed the apps and re-installed them as there was only a few.
