Fuji S1730?

    Hi!

I lost my old digital camera when I moved house recently , so I'm thinking of upgrading a bit when I replace it. I've been looking at the Finepix S1730, or any of that series (they all seem pretty similar). The S1730 is only €180, which seems like a good price for what it is. Does anyone have any experience with this camera or have any recommendations?

Budget is an issue for me, but I'm looking for something I can carry around easily but with a little more control than a regular point-and-shoot as I use my camera for work sometimes (I work in a lab so I take pictures of bacterial plates, etc. which requires a decent enough macro that a lot of point-and-shoots don't have). Would this camera do the trick?

    Thanks!

Does it have Fuji's "Super Macro" focusing? If so.. it'll probably work great for it.
