Digital TV not available in Ireland.

There's ongoing test transmissions from 3 rock amongst others. Most people in Dublin can recieve DTT (if they've the right MPEG4 decoder) on any given day.

I have it out here in Abbeyfeale. Most of the country has it as a test signal now.

Any DVB-T card can receive Irish DTT , the codec to view it has to be .h264 compatible . That PC will get the current Irish DTT test service including the New HD test card .

EDIT:-Before It's asked about , more info on the RTE HD test card I refereed to above.

Don't really understand why people buy these...

Is it just for a slight space saver?

I bought one because it's wall mountable, and a touchscreen. So you don't need a desk or keyboard to use it. You save space and also don't have tons of wires running everywhere.

The screen is incredibly crisp too, which makes it a fantastic TV/DVD player. I've replaced my computer AND my TV with this unit. It also gets great use as an all-in-one TV/1TB Media Player. So I no longer have to transfer downloaded media to a separate device.

It's brilliant, I bought mine before Christmas, it's superb value for money.
