Headin to Prague with 3 of the lads in a few weeks, does anyone have an recommendations for hostels or cheap apartments... anything up to around €300 between the 4 of us.

Have used www.apartments-in-prague.org a couple of times and they were good. They'll pick you up from the airport as well if you want. The only downside is that none of the apartments have televisions - didn't bother us but might bother some.

Have also stayed in a hotel called U Suteru - www.usuteru.cz - which was nice but probably not suitable for a lads' break.

The enormous beerhall U Medvidku also runs a hotel which might be a good spot - the location can't be beaten - www.umedvidku.cz - and the beer is fab (try their beer ice-cream).

I have rented through http://www.mypragueapartments.com/en/index.php many times before. This always turned out to be a better deal than a hotel. Oh, and there always was a telly in the apartment as well :).
