PP has just introduced Volcano Betting - when the Volcano will affect our airports and which day will it cancel flights (both ways) for at least an hour.

It starts the betting from 1st June to 31st August.

I was looking at some charts of the wind and ash disruption - seems like the next day for Dublin Airport to experience difficulties could be 24th May.

Most odds are ranging from 10/1 - 20/1

    Will anyone be tempted?

    For only an hour?
That could cost them a whack.
You could back your flight not to leave that day at 10/1 (or higher), flights are stopped out og the airport for an hour but your flight goes on time later in the day so you get out on your jollys and get paid .
Forget the the weather guys, they don't even know what's coming tomorrow let alone for the summer?

    I know, it's only for a hour

    Quoted from PP:
Take the risk out of volcanic ash spoiling your summer holiday. Simply place a bet on your departure airport closing on your travel date due to volcanic ash. We are offering odds on a variety of UK and Irish International airports covering departure dates until the end of the summer. So don't let the volcano cost you cash, hedge your holiday with paddypower.com.
Conditions: Your chosen airport must have an unscheduled closure (i.e., no flights allowed land/depart) due to volcanic ash contamination for at least one hour on your selected day resulting in flight cancellations for bet to be deemed a winner. All normal Paddy Power Terms and Conditions apply.
