With our government looking to introduce water charges and seeing as you can get grants to make you home more energy efficent do you think they should also introduce a grant to help home owners make their homes more water efficient, i.e. grants to help with purchase of new water efficient washing machines, dishwashers, toilets, installation of showers etc...

Should our government introduce a home owners water efficiency grant 6 votes

They should replace the leaking, outdated water supply pipes first.

Go smell some water eficient cities the green ejit minister compares us to. If water charges come there'll have to bring in a smelly tax afterward.

My water supply is ****. Maybe they should have a proper working water system before wasting more money trying to make it "green".

Any grant to do with the Water systems will only allow plumbers and other to rip-off the public like they done before with the solar panel grants. Solar Panels suddenly became very expensive to gobble up the money of the grant when householders were getting sold cheap crappy evacuated tubes and ripped off.

I agree with you guys, they should replace the leaking, outdated water supply pipes first.

Say the above repair work was done first, would you be more inclined to welcome the introduction of charges if such a grant scheme came in and it wasn't run like some of the current rip-off energy ones at present.
