Passport Trouble

    Hi there wondering if anyone can help we are going on holiday 3 weeks this Sunday on the 13th June and have left it very late to get a passport for my son who is 2 and a half years old.....does anyone know if we can go up to Dublin in person and get it processed quicker still....I know theres industrial action but we stupidly thought we could get it sorted and never got round to it.....and posting it we have no chance id say............any help would be of massive help to us ....thanks

    You could try this, but it could be a bit slow. Your best bet would be to go to the passport office and hope you can get it within a day or two.

    Bring proof of your travel arrangements eg print off ticket etc, make sure that you have every thing required on the passport forms.
    If you havn't taken his photos yet get them done in a chemist, they will make sure that they will meet the "photograph guidelines". I was in the passport office about a month ago applying for my kids passports, while I was there a lady was having a fit that the photos wern't good enough on her husbands application....

    Thanks for your help people thats great help Im willing to go up to Dublin office and wait all day like I just hope they will see ya when you go up there ........fingers crossed
