Has anyone thought about prospect that someone might give the game away re the ending accidentally or otherwise.
It will be the most talked about ending of all time. Word will get out.
Some one on another site talked about a self imposed total blackout for next few days. Thoughts anyone?

i think not many people want to know the ending. they want to know the surprise of the finale. i know i do and that's why i'm not going on boards til i've watched the finale at 7/8am on monday.

Facebook/Twitter newsfeeds will be full of them too. Best to do a complete internet blackout on Sunday/Monday. It might seem a bit extreme but there's going to be some serious messers over the next few days

I'm doing an Internet blackout on Monday until I can get home and watch the show.
I'm also going to play music very loudly when walking to and from work in case some scum is talking about it, particularly now that Sky One are airing it.
Oh and murder anyone who spoils it - no jury would convict me!

I hear you ioxy, was going to watch it live early on Monday morning but will record it and watch it when i get home on monday evening too. will allow me to skip 40 mins of ads!! total radio\newspaper\internet\tv blackout all day monday...oh and people

Its Monday night for me too - all you need is one idiot saying "Wow can you believe X happened at the end of lost" and it would be ruined. I don't know how I'll stay off the internet though but I may cut off my fingers to stop me "accidently" going on line to check out what happened.:D

Okay To work this one out. It goes out at 5am Irish time on Mondy. Officially no one will know about before then unless press or someone else lekas.
What is our window of opportunity of staying online and someone not giving the game away.
At what stage do we retreat to the bunkers.

Sunday night will be fine...watch TV go to bed as normal, but as soon as I wake up on Monday morning until I get home after work no radio\papers\etc

I had to fight not opening up a link here in boards that has the leaked script of the finale....its a weird feeling..i really want to read it and at the same time, i really dont want to read it!!

No no! It begins to air at 2am on the East Coast in the States. At that point you need to shut down as American viewers begin to watch it. As they watch they can be talking about it online - stupid Internet means their comments are up instantaneously: "OMG I can't believe Ben is actually Jacob from an alternate universe!" "OMG the island is in space now!" etc.
2am. That's the deadline. And it'll be a literal dead line for those who spoil.

thanks for the tip off. I am really getting a bit anxious about the whole finale now. In a way will be relieved when its all over.

Bank holiday Monday means I can stay up to start fixing my antenna and then watch it that evening. Should be able to avoid spoilers unless some asshat puts them in an after hours thread or they make it to football365

Thing to watch out for is the thread titles. Thread carefully if you will pardon the pun.

Don't go on twitter - the trending topics will ruin it.

Don't go on Facebook - comments/groups etc. will ruin it.

Don't go near message boards - discussion will ruin it, even thread titles.

Don't go near torrent sites - trolls will ruin it by leaking the ending only (this might sound extreme, but may well happen)

Don't go near entertainment sites - they will scurry to be the first to cover it.

Essentially, stay away from any sort of social media, file sharing, and news sites for the few hours leading up to the finale unless you want to be told that MiB is Jack's father.

Again i have seen it on other sites where posters put up plots up on the actual threads. We need to be careful here. For any serious lostie, a self imposed blackout in a bunker somewhere is the only way around it.

ya, at the very least you will here that it was controversial / terrible / brilliant or some such.... I dont want to know anything.

hmmm, ill think on it.... suppose I should try and slot the two hours in on Monday evening. If I can do it early I will.
