But when i am on 3g or edge i cant send emails but i can receive them. I have tried a few diffrent outgoing server settings but with no luck, has any one ideas on this one??? The ones i have tried are mail.iol.ie(which works when connected to wifi) mail@mymeteor.ie, mail@vodafone.ie, but no luck tried using different ports too, !

Mail.iol.ie should work for your incoming mail on 3g as I've it in use and no bother, have you mail set to pop and not imap?

Agh well I spoke too soon!! The eircom server works when wifi is off but when it's on not so much !! I get a message when sending saying senders name not correct or something but when I switch the wifi back off it sends . So do I have to use 2 different servers I wonder ?? Which would mean swPing them over before I send a email !!! Grrrrr I thought I had it sorted

Ok now it's sorted !! I have the iol as the main server and eircom as the secondary 1 . It uses the secondary 1if the primary 1 fails so I think it's all sorted. Sorry for the head Fu*k !
