Nice find, do you know what colour they are or are there a couple different ones available?

Heatons are selling a number of water resistant Greg Norman golf jackets for the unbelievable price of €10 each!

Same as this one on Ebay

awesome, they look like they'd be good for cycling in the wet weather when it returns

Beware the difference between "water resistant" and "waterproof"!

I spent years, and wasted a good bit of money, buying cheapo gear when I started playing golf, and if it rained, I got wet. A few years ago I had a few bob to spare and splashed out ~ €250 on a quality set of raingear and it was the best money I ever spent on golf gear.

That sound familiar. Well, the gettin' wet part anyway.
    What would you recommend?

Gore-Tex is your only man. I'm a coach and I'm out in all weather and when it's wet I'm Gore-Texed from head to toe. Jacket, Pants, Runners. It's evpensive but wil last you for years. Best invesment you can make if you're outdoors alot.

Will it get damaged if it's crumpled up and shoved into the bag?
I've had stuff start leaking that way before.
I don't mind paying for a good suit, but not if I have to look after it like it was silk.

Mine is dumped into my boot after training. The only time it gets out is if I need to hose it down because of mud (i coach rugby). It's still waterproof.
If you need to wash it (as it's outerwear the need is rare if ever) you must use some special stuff to keep it waterproof that you're able to buy in most outdoor shops. After I haggled the shop owner down to as low as he'd go on the price I got him to throw in a bottle of the stuff. Poor fella was nearly crying as I left the shop :)
