amazon.co.uk + Deutsche Post DHL = uh oh?

    Hi,
    I've always ordered off amazon regularly without mishap. Up till now everything has been sent by An Post and always arrived within two days of the dispatch notification.

    This week for the first time I got a dispatch notification but to my surprise it said "Deutsche Post DHL" was the courier not An Post...

    So five working days since getting the dispatch notification no sign of it...

    How have others gotten on with amazon and Deutsche Post as the courier? I got a sinking feeling....:(

    This happened to me with a book ,its shipped from another warehouse.
    I think it's just down to not having stock and sending it on from mainland europe.
    Took a good while longer as far as I can remember.

    I'm currently in the same boat. Ordered a book on Dec 13 with estimated delivery on Dec 22. Still waiting. Assumed that it was just the usual Christmas delay but then I googled deutache post dhl and came to this. Surprisingly poor service from amazon to use this courier :mad:

    Deutsche Post DHL

    Most of these are delivered by An Post but they have no tracking numbers so cannot be traced

    They must have shipped the book from a warehouse in Germany as they probably didn't have it in stock here.

    Apologies for digging up an old thread but I made an order on Amazon that included a book. To my surprise the dispatch email said they used "Deutsche Post DHL". Just wondering how long will it take to arrive? Need it for the 25th obviously. It was dispatched on the 29th.
