That's awful ~Candy~ :( You should go down to the River Apartments office and report it stolen maybe? They might be able to do something with the CCTV (although I'm not sure if there is cameras near every building). It also could be a good idea to call the guards either. I hope you get your stuff back :)

Go straight to the res office and campus security, do NOT tell them you were staying in the apartment though as that's not actually allowed.

Hey Candy, a person (Mikey from law you might know him) had their ipod stolen from their room in Riordan in Village. That's across from me. Maynooth cmapus is very open and you do often see all sorts walking around, from school kids to older lads. Although it could well be someone living on cmapus too. So there's definitely someone/people robbing stuff. Lock your bedroom doors and don't leave valuables in clear view of passers by. I always shut my front door on the way out anymore for safety (partly from my mates who always used to thrash the place!!)

Hope ya get them back. Contact the guards too.:)

Ya, often times I walk past appartment font doors that aren't locked, just on the latch. Most people leave their bedrooms unlocked for convenience sake. Not the mention the fact there's a few magnetic doors that don't work properly on certain blocks.

The Doors don't work because people are pushing in the green emergency release panel. for purely there own convenience. So they don't need to bring a key with them when they go out.

Which defeats the purpose of having a door really. Its meant to ensure that only the people who actually live in that building can access it.

There is Camera's in the Lobby of every building, facing the door.

Thats a terrible thing to happen, especially with the exam coming up. Feel sorry for you!

I haven't been around campus in almost a week but I actually noticed a quite a few skangers hanging around campus when I was in doing exams.
