barrier is to keep out traveller i believe
other alternative is only to hire security guard
    i think it is best

it is short walk from road to beach in any case
always good to walk for bit after surf i think

Moving the problem down the road doesn't help anyone.

The point here is that buses, caravans and jeeps that used to be able to use the car park are now unable to. The surf school cannot access their storage hut. (which they have planning permission for)

It doesn't really affect me, as I don't go to fanore very often or even use the road. But it negatively affects other people and surfers whom it wasn't intended to. Therefore its a bad design. I oppose bad design. :)
