If there is a discrepency in the yardage printed on a club scorecard, say, the sum of the yardages for the out or front nine are added incorrectly then totaled with the in or back nine which are correct - can that scorecard be used?

Yeah no worries. really the length of holes on the scorecard would be of no real significance.

I think Daithio9 link refers more to the movement of tee markers more than the length of the holes on the scorecard. your scorecard is correct other than the addition of the numbers. Personally I think it's fine. Its a bit like having your scores down correctly on the card but adding them up wrong. The card is still correct as the numbers are correct. The maths just wasnt too clever.

The length of the holes (all 18 hoes) is correct; it's the back 9 addition or sum of the lengths that is incorrect. As stated ..."really the length of holes on the scorecard would be of no real significance". It's what the player writes down as a score on a card or piece of paper once signed by a fellow player or competitor that's important.

I like the look of the twelfth. 169 yards par 6...

12th par 6! the par would have to be correct to make a scorecard valid. I'd fancy making an albatross there!

OOoopps! :o typo...3 beneath 6 key on numeric keypad...otherwise, it's normally what I get on this green when the pin is behind the bunkers and I'm in the sand-trap....then the next bunker....then the next bunker...!

strange course, 3 par 3's on the front 9, 2 par 5's in a row on the front 9 and 2 in a row on the back 9.

    which course is it?
