Hi i just got a call from a guy with an indian accent on the house phone asking me if i had problems with my pc and that they are doing a survey for windows, I knew right away it was a scam so i kept pushing and asking for as much info as i could and he eventually hung up.
his website was www dot online pc care dot com. i dont advise anybody to visit the site just trying to make people aware of it. Afte googling it there are a lot of comments and complaints about this guy and it seems to be known to the police in the uk. He said got my number from surveys by windows. He knew my surname and house phone number so i would have thought he got this information from the phone book but if this is a international scam then who knows?
i would never give my house number when buying anything online and only buy thing on ebay mostly.
