Injector for 2006 2.0TDI VW Passat

My 2.0 TDI Passat (Engine code BKP) has been diagnosed by Main dealer that one of the injectors has packed in.The dealer is looking for €584 plus vat for the part.
Anybody know anywhere I can source one of these for cheaper or do I have to go to main dealer for this part?

You can get them reconditioned but thats a good price. I bought a car a few weeks ago and two of them went cost over 2 grand to sort it.... Long story

sorry hope this might help people who have had injectors go on there VW passats,

I found out off a mechanic that VW were refunding customers on injectors as it was a common problem on the car , I owned a 2006 vw Passat 2.0 TDI and have been fighting with them over an 800 Euro bill , I would advise any body who had the work carried out to ring VW directly , even if the work was carried out by a local mechanic , my understading was that the injectors were bosch only , so please ring VW , they wont ring you .
