Bad things happen in Three's

I've always thought this and it was reaffirmed for me this week.

The week started with a cancelled flight due to the ashcloud, followed by a 15hr train/ferry/bus trip back to Dublin. A poor start to a week that got progressively worse.

While doing a spot of trout fishing last night near Cellbridge I lost my footing on some rocks and managed to completely submerge myself in the liffey. I'd waded out to knee level to get to a good spot and even had my phone held aloft in the event that my nethers got tickled. I went under, phone and all - at least it was warmish yesterday evening.

Went to the cinema to see Four Lions (which was quite funny) and parked near Bodkins pub, close to Parnell St. I came out to find my car had been broken into. They took my radio face plate (which was in the glove box) and my work ID. They pulled the back seats down and also got a 12m kite in the back which I had out on loan. They got my phone too which was soggy from the river - every cloud!

There's a theif out there somewhere with a very big kite and a soggy Nokia - best of luck to him. His THREE are on the way no doubt.

    rookie mistake. :o

hard luck though :(, try around the pawn shops in the city over the coming week. You might get the kite back at least.

Have you got a permit for fishing? well, have you? - you brought this on yourself.

It's about these American warmongers who go into Iraq and try to steal some of the country's wealth.

    (it's a work of fiction)

Good things happen in 3's too.

I made some extra money from pretty much nothing and bought something I really wanted from it.

I won a thingy in work and I get a free holiday in Athens for me and my gf.

For my birthday I got some nice things I wanted.

    But beware....

The work thingy was postponed because of stupid rioting Athenians.

I got a big sty on my eye.

Some cunt stole loads of stuff from my apartment on my birthday!

Almost makes you believe in karma...... Not really though, It's just life.

It's 4 bad things if you consider you were 11 years late for your film.

No idea why 3 kings was in my head - rough week.

Best line from Four Lions: "He'll be in heaven before his head hits the ceiling". A muslim version of the Irish saying: He'll be in heaven before the devil knows he's dead.

Given that it's a black comedy about suicide bombers I got a laugh out of this.
