    Hi,
Just looking for an opinion more than anything. My partner works for a large firm who have many different sites. Since he was moved to his current site approx 2 years, he felt many of the employees were being treated unfairly and were moved off that site when the site superviser took a dislike to them. Site turnover was fairly high. He was told today by the general supervisor of the whole firm that he had been moved off the site. No explaination was given for this. He was upset as he enjoyed working there, believed he had been doing a good job and generally had a good routine going. He then rang a colleague on the site and this person told him that he had been informed earlier that day of the situation by the site superviser.

Im wondering of the fairness of the site supervisor telling coworkers that my partner had been moved off site before telling my partner. Is this mentioned in employment law? Surely he has a legal right to be told before anyone else?

    Thanks :)
