Buy now tbh, on the slim chance the Euro rises you loss will be relatively neglible. The way it's looking; the Euro is heading for a slump so I'd buy now.

I am in the same boat OP, heading to NYC in August and can't believe the slump the dollar has taken. When we went to Orlando last August, I think we were getting something like $1.45 for our euro. It really leaves everything out there very expensive. The only bright point for me is that we have pre paid our flights and accomodation so at least we won't be paying more for that. Feel sorry for people who have budgeted a certain amount for their hotels and flights and will now have to pay 100's more.

I have decided to hedge my bets and get some of my spending money now and wait a few weeks for the rest. Hopefully I won't lose out too much by doing this. I think there will be a lot of Europeans in the States this year spending a lot less money. We will be curbing our shopping and eating out for sure.
