This Sunday the FBD Insurance Ras will be finishing in Dundalk. The Ras is an 8 day international bike race and the field is made up of amateur Irish riders on county teams and professional cycling teams from Germany, Sweden, Australia, Spain, Austria, UK, Belgium, USA, and New Zealand. The cyclists will first pass through Clanbrassil Street between 2:15 and 3:00, before heading out to Carlingford and Omeath to tackle the Long Womans Grave. They will then come back into Dundalk for the stage finish on Clanbrassil Street at between for about 3:45 - 4:00.

The towns main streets will be closed and there will be live music to entertain the crowd and hopefully also some children's bike racing. A good day out is ensured and is something different to do of a Sunday. Meath has two strng teams competing in the event, the Stamullen Meath Team and the Engravit Meath Team, both of which could use your support.
