notice alot of younger calves coughing when you move the herd about abit..weather is farily hot and cold at the moment and have already had to vet to 2 calves with pneumonia, what would be the best injection to give the calves with a view to keeping pneumonia away, would put that antibiotic powder in with their meal but no doubt the bigger calves would get the most of it so was thinking of injecting them, would generic type antibiotics like engenmycin or maxoject be good enough I wonder, anyone any ideas?

had same prob hit them all wit a ivermectin can't remember d name think it was by norbrook. cleared them all nicely. would have thought chills or pneumonia would be more than just coughing ie snots in nose and panting. sorry just realised that was 2 weeks ago ..... glad u got sorted!

ya one twin calf got the snotty nose and was lagging a bit so had him to vet, kept him for a few days and had a course of injections to give him, he was slow enough to come round but ok now
