I got a car stereo deck like....1.5 years ago,... now the aux input stopped acknowleging my mp3 player. I have to hold the aux 3.5mm input to the side, just for sound, but that doesn't work because I can't do it for that long before it cancels out. Its like its a loose connection on the inside of the cd deck. Its a panasonic deck. Is this worth repairing or is it possible to repair??

Firstly, do your headphones work with the mp3 player?
If they do, you know it's not the socket on the mp3 player.
Try a different mp3 player to car stereo lead.
If this doesn't work, then it's your car stereo socket.
