    Hi,

I graduated last year with an Hons. Degree in Electronic Engineering. I've been looking for work since January and have applied for lots of graduate engineering jobs advertised. I got 2 interviews but was unsuccessful in both. I've heard nothing from the rest. I've less than a years work experience done during college.

I've been contemplating moving to London to look for work since I've a contact over there but I dont want to just go over and rely on them.

The Buzz word in Ireland seems to be smart economy but there doesn't seem to be any smart jobs available for graduates.

    Any advice is welcome,
    Cheers

    Move to London.

The alternative is probably another 6 months on the dole.

Learn a language. Give yourself more options than just English speaking countries.

See what night courses are available near you.

London would give you valuable experience which is something potential employers will look for in a cv, you have to at things in the long term. London after all is really on our door step and you never know what doors iv might open.
