    Hi

I've been approached by the above looking for me to join as an associate.

Does anyone know anything about them?

*Just sounds like a commission only cold calling job. and I've never heard of them before so i dont really think they can claim to be 'irelands no 1 alternative to eircom'

I believe imagine are the crowd behind "Irish Broadband" and the new Wiimax.

It's a network marketing deal. Or in Fingers speak; PYRAMID - IE. :D
It's not a scam, and it's not illegal.

You pay €99 to become an associate and earn €50 for each customer you bring them (if the blurb from their "presentation" is above board. There may be conditions you'll find about in a full presentation) That's not a bad deal at all. 2 sales and you've got your investment back. And you earn a cut of the customers bills.

Word of warning. 2 companies that used this type of marketing have gone in recent years. Excel/EurExcel went about 5 years ago and Euphony went last year. The Excel/EurExcel problem was the debt its parent company (Var Tech) carried after buying out several companies. Euphony copied Excel's model in the late 90's and wrapped up late last year. The problem in the industry is the tiny cash margins from phone calls. Simple as that.

You can also introduce other associates and earn a cut of their customers bills as well. You've nothing to lose here. The investment is tiny. As I said, 2 customers should see you clear. That could be you and your mother.

I'd say you shouldn't expect long term stability with this. And I doubt you'll earn the millions your friend who approached you told you about. ;) This model just doesn't work for services anymore. I can show you companies in Network Marketing that cost over a grand to get started with. But I have no doubt they'll be around a lot longer than ImagineAssociates will.

PM me if you want to discuss further.

Very good and clear reply DunTony! :) I'd say for those who want to know more about this business model, should read Robert Kiyosaki's book 'Business of the 21st century' but still I would recommend to read 'Rich dad poor dad' before reading the this one. And.. OPEN YOUR MINDS people.. :)
