BS is AF but more vague and HR-based imo... stick with AC if you like ac***** in anyway, if your changing because you don't like accounts but like business maybe consider MINT or EPL? better courses imo

It wont be possible to switch this year seeing as it's the middle of exams but they may allow you to go straight into 2nd year BS, provided you pass all your exams this year. Your best bet would be to email your course head and the head of BS after exams are over.

Yeah should be no prob once you pass the year, I've switched and swapped in other courses before, contact the course coordinator for BS. As for Business Studies been interesting.....:D

One of the lads in my day when I did AF switched to BS2 after first year as both courses are virtually the same in first year. Contact course head or your assigned lecturer and should be no problem. You can opt to do the BBS specialities in final year in AF aswell.

Had to reply to this! I've just finished my degree in DCU, did the first 2 years of AF and I've never been so unhappy, switched to BBS for my final year so that's going to be my degree (hopefully...come on 1st July!!). If accounting's not for you I'd seriously think about switching. Depends on what you're interested in, I took the HR specialism and LOVED it.
BTW talk to both heads of courses, usually very approachable! I think the closing date to switch is very soon after the exam results too.
