    Do you mean a backpayment?

If so, then it varies from office to office.

This topic might give you an idea of how long it takes in your local area.

Good luck and congrats on your new baby.

Going by the Title i assume you mean that you have a new child in the household, and you are wondering how long it will take for them to pay you the increase for that child?

If so, have you talked to the Local Office?

I know CB get auto notification of children born in an Irish hospital, and a notice is sent to the local office, but i am not sure if the LO's still need forms filled in for the Child increase (it's being awhile since i dealt with the system). If they do, they will probably give you the form on your next signing day.

call into the local office its just a matter of adding the child to your claim .the child details will be on the social welfare system within a week or 2 of their birth if they were born in ireland.
