    Hi,

    Just off the phone with the local facilitator :(

    Basically I was hoping to apply for the Back to Work Enterprise allowance.

    A little back story. Finished college in June 07, no job and on stamps until Feb 08 where I entered full time employment. Was in that Job until end of May 09 when my contract expired. By sheer luck I has started a new short term job the next (bank hol) Monday. I was there until the end of Sept.

    Come start of Oct I applied for social welfare. I did not have enough stamps for benefit so was assesed for assistance which I received the full amount. No sign of a job. Fast forward to today. I have been told that in my situation:

    a)Switch to benefit now (they think I can apply now) and apply for the emergency scheme which will run out in Sept and be on my own come Oct
    b) Wait till Oct and apply for the full scheme

    Gutted atm :mad: Just cannot seem to catch a break.

    I do not want to be doing anything illegal either. Very very deflated :mad:
