I presume you're talking about a man's suit? Without seeing you, or the proposed suit, I can't imagine it working.

Saw a good few beige suits floating around a wedding group couple of weeks ago.

Main reason it's not so popular is it's not as versatile & wearable as a darker suit that can be used for loads of occassions. But if you'll get more use outta it then go for it.

Ohh & I didn't see pink with them, they themed them with white shirts & baby blue or goldish yellow coloured ties.

Yeh beige suits can be lovely, particularly with blue shirt.

Would you believe I bought a beige suit last week? I picked up one of those nice linen suits from M&S for my holliers in the heat.

Wear a dark shirt. or you'll look bleached out especially if you are not wearing a tie. I like a solid navy shirt and a cream/pale blue tie.

If you are not wearing a tie then go for a dark shirt. If you are wearing a tie then go for a lighter colour shirt and a dark tie.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

The "bleached out" comment is valid if the OP is of typical celtic complexion. Steer clear of white and other off-whites, including pale blues and pinks. However, I just can't bring myself to agree with navy shirt + pale tie.

I would proffer that a mid-blue shirt would set off both a beige suit and any typical Irish male complexion very well; better still one has a huge choice of ties to go with it.

I would avoid pink with a beige suit. The colour shirt that you wear with beige really depends on your complexion. I would wear brown or blue. I don't think navy would work either. If you're more daring I think this Paul Smith shirt could look well with beige, depending on your colouring. http://www.paulsmith.co.uk/shop/paul-smith-shirts-380/paul-smith-london-multi-stripe-shirt-slim-fitted-single-cuff-formal-shirt-pbxl-786e-bs2-1/product.html

I often wear it with beige chinos on holidays, but I'm quite dark.
