    Hey guys
Just wondering if any of you new what kind of prices they charge for a cut and blow dry in Zoo on exchequer st, dublin. There website doesn't give much details. I know they are on the pricey side but I'd like to have an idea of how much before I make an appointment.
Or if someone can recommend another hairdresser that is good for wavy/curly hair. (not toni & guy or peter marks)
    Cheers.

i go to Zoo every 8 eights... get my colour done with andrew dunne....
he charges me €160 for highlights and i get my hair cut with Adele €75 (She's a senior cutter...price includes blow dry)... i know its expensive but its work it... i wouldnt go near toni and guy or peter marks ever again.

I think a cut with Shay Dempsey is around €150 ....

What a shocker! I just got a full head of highlights and a cut for 96 euro at a local hairdresser having a 25% off special and i'm so so happy with it. Thats just crazy money!!!

thats great that your happy with your cut and colour and that's great value too...:D

But ive had terrible experience with hairdressers and to be honest Andrew gives me excellent results with my hair everytime... he doesnt do highlights the way Peter Marks and toni and guy... i get no fading and very little re-growth... so although its expensive him happy to pay it knowing ill get the results i want.

Andrew also won a top award in the "Colour category at the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award International Final in Berlin. It's no small achievement either. A total of 84 finalists from 60 countries "

so i dont feel €160 is crazy money

I agree with the last poster - if you think its worth it to you then go for it.

Op I used to go to zoo as I have curly hair, and a girl called donna used to cut it, however she wasnt there a few times when I needed a cut and other people did it, and tbh it was no better than peter mark (in the sense that they cut curly hair like its straight!)

I've been going to Lucy in style club for the around 9 months and she is amazing, I have never been so happy with my hair, she's an absolute pleasure to deal with, and style club is fantastic value, they had 20% off for the last couple of months, so a cut and colour ranges from €58 up to around €110 depending on what you go for. I really can't recommend it/her enough

I went there twice to get my hair cut a few years ago when it was short. The first time the guy cut it it needed to be cut again after 2 weeks and it cost €90 or something  Anyway I thought I'd give them another chance and when I went back I explained that I had very thick hair and it needed to be really thinned. Same thing happened after 2 weeks. At that stage I gave up and found a salon where the hairdresser actually cuts your hair.

It's a nice salon, you get pampered and all the staff are lovely and friendly but ffs what's the point in all that if you're not going even get your hair cut.

its a pity you had a bad experience ... you should have demanded your money back... but this was a few years ago, staff change, so i wouldnt let that put you off going back..;)

I had 2 bad experiences. I forgave the first one and went back only to find it repeated a second time.

TBH, I've found a really good hairsalon in Dublin where I get a wash, cut, blowdry for €40 and ok I don't get my glass of sparkling wine or whatever but I'm over €40 richer.

Then you should stick to what you like... if you have a good hairdresser and are happy then stick with them.... thats why i stick with andrew...
everybody has a different experience i suppose :D
