DM 500 HD or alternative

    I have both an Eagle Box and a Dreambox 800.
    I am thinking of updating the Eagle and was wondering if anyone has tried the DM 500HD or can they recommend an alternative HD box.

    i got the 500hd dreambox
    what can i say.. i love it , if you wanna get it make sure its not part of an original batch which seemed to cause ppl some problems ( like not turning on)
    mine never gave me a prob
    the size is smaller than an ntl mini box

    not too sure about the gemini image cos i tried a few and was just happy with the dream elite one
    you can indeed, even if i just do it via ethernet
    u need to turn it off from the switch at the back, turn it on and hold the standby button for a few seconds
    then the box enters in flash mode, type in ur browser the local ip of the dm500hd and ur done

    The latest Gemini image, V5.0 is the first of the Gemini images to be made available for the 500HD

    Hi. Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on this box? The price is right and it seems to be backed up with proper software support (whereas another cheap alternative is not)...but i have not come across any actual feedback from users of the box itself...

    Anyone know any more?
