With the advent of radio online, do you guys have a favourite radio station from somewhere other then Ireland, maybe you listen to it because it reminds you of home or because you visited their on holiday and listened to it in the car?

Mine is The Edge, from Toronto Canada, mostly Rock and Metal

ABC News Radio from Australia, I do sometimes listen to them before I go to bed, their morning show, so I can get news from the future :pac:

It reminds me of being in Taxis at all hours of the morning in Sydney heading home from nights out.

BBC Radio 1 by a country mile.

    Other than that:

    • The Today Network in Australia
    • WHEB 100.3 in New Hampshire, USA
    • Sirius Satellite Radio
    That's pretty much it.

Another vote for BBC Radio 1, Radio 4 isn't half bad either.

Yeah it's subscription service. It's available outside America on the internet only as far as I know.

I don't pay for it. I have a handy (Albeit a bit annoying) way around that. I won't mention it here for legal* reasons, but if you wanna know PM me.

*Even though technically what I'm doing's not illegal, just immoral.

I love FIP radio, a great mix of off beat music, and the dj's have lovely relaxing voices!

Every day in work I listen to BBC 6 Music.

Fantastic mix of music and some class DJs (including Jarvis Cocker, Huey Morgan, Guy Garvey, Steve Lamacq)

I'll have to check that out. I listen to planet rock because I like the music. Everytime I leave the room hubby changes it to Heart fm...because he used to live in the area....but the music is rubbish.
