Anybody tried the Cobra S2, hit a few with a stiff shaft and 9.5. I had it in the open position but it still feels a bit on the closed side.

Recently bought a New Cobra S2 following a fitting.Agreed following advice to get an 11.5 Aldila DVS 60-S shaft. which is interchangeable as know to closed.open and neutral. Its a beautiful looking head but I am disappointed with my new toy as my drives now are to high and no extra distance plus slicing with setting set at closed....Have to get help quickly

Sound like a lot of loft, have never used anything except a 9.5, mind you I've never been custom fitted. I'd go back and say you are not happy with your general ball flight. I bought the S2, will have to wait till the weekend to try it in anger. Have used TM for the past 5yrs so it's a bit of a departure, but like you said this is an exceptional looking club. I like the old style shapped head, not gone on the way TM have gone with there head shapes.
