Reliable websites for buying wedding /bridesmaid/evening dresses etc

    Help appreciated.

    Need to know where I can find nice bridesmaid's dresses at good prices online .
    Website details or personal experience appreciated.
    Also any information on how much custom's duty etc has to be paid on delivery from the sites. Is there any problem with sizing or can you send details that they will work from?smile.gif

    for new and almost new wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses try the buy and sell section of www.weddingsonline.ie

    also ebay, but beware of china as sometimes the fit and quality is not as in the pic you see.

    www.lightinthebox.com has some fine ones and im assured the quality for the price is good.

    i know someone who used gownsales.com and somehow, they arrived and she didnt have to pay customs or anything, not sure how they slipped through. she got the codes from the dresses in a bridal shop (of course pretended she was trying them there), tried sizes etc, said thank you very much i'll be back to you, left and ordered the exact same from USA for a fraction of the price.

    I've heard of a few people who got dresses there at great prices.

    Hi there,

    I sent a photograph of the wedding dress I wanted along with measurements to www.hibridal.com. They came back to me with a quote of €188 and a time scale of 5 weeks (as compared to 3K and 6 months in the shop I originaly saw the dress). Now you do pay in advance but sure enough 5 weeks later the dress arrived and is perfect, the quality of the workmanship and fabric is as goos as you will get anywhere. They will mark the package sample or gift and give it a value of €25 so no duty is payable. The company is based in China. you could also look at www.lightinthebox.com I have heard great reports for them too. Hibridal will make any dress or also carry their own catalogue

    I just got a gorgeous evening dress from dresslicious.ie. It's perfect and so reasonable. They're based in Waterford too so no custom woes.
