note...if this is in wrong section mods please move it......i was looking for a music section but could only find musicals which is different

ok........so i was watching viva top 20 uk hits.............and i saw 1 song where alexandra burk was wearing a lady gagaish outfit and dancing by a pool at a house part.........very obviously copying lady gaga...............and another where they were at a party using glow in the dark paint exactly like the black eyed peas music vid..............
i havent really got any point or question i just want to know if anyone else has seen this and if they think its a load of bollox that they cant be at all original..............

They all think that they're original, but they're all the feckin same, shovelling money into the bank, and churning out crap for the masses.

Even the music channels must have had enough of the music, because they've resorted to filling the schedules with non-music related programmes.

I am going to take this topic into the fashion world- i hate hate hate when brands are copied and sold for less. I think that is so disrespectful. In my opinion if you dont have the money to buy the real thing, just dont buy it! So, bottom line, NO COPY CATS!

Maybe it's fashion and style trends that she's using in her video, as opposed to "copying" other artists. I'm sure someone wore a similar outfit before Lady Gaga wore it, and the same with someone using glow in the dark paint before the Black Eyed Peas used it. There are trends and fads in all areas of life, pop music seems to have gone all electro- we could blame loads of people for that, but everyone seems to think it's Lady Gaga who's being copied! If your mate wears Uggs and leggings is she "copying you" or just following the latest trends?!?!!?

firstly lilly allen your opinion is probably biased............secondly if my friend wore leggings i would probably not accuse her of copying me as i am male

fad/trend=large scale copying...........and as im saying hy cant people be original and not copy........you telling me that pop stars are copying somthing that is widely copied by many from other pop stars isnt exactly an argument

What I'm saying is that people follow trends and fads- whether it's clothing, hair styles, make up, reading certain books, listening to styles of music, watching certain tv shows even eating certain types of food. Throughout history, fads and trends have been always been followed- are you only noticing now? I'm sure there are ten things you like/ do in your daily life that you only do because you saw it on tv, read it in a magazine, heard it on the radio, your friends do it/ wear it, etc.

Every one of us is a "copy cat" to some degree!!!

God, you're fairly rude. I would advise you to re- read your posts and then ask yourself who needs to improve their English. I'll give you a hint- it's not me!! Maybe the reason I'm having trouble understanding what you're saying is that your spelling and punctuation is poor. If you edit your posts, I'll re- read them and then you could perhaps respond to the topic and not make personal, unwarranted insults.
