Calculators during exams

    Hey just wondering it says on some of my exam papers "that the use of programmable or text storing calculators is forbidden" but does that mean the Sharp scientific calculators (the ones everyone used during secondary) Would really appreciate a reply.

    No, they're fine to use. Incidentally, I got a good 7/8 years out of mine before it went and died last month.:(

    mine are disposable. i always end up buying a new one for every set of exams i do.
