HD receivers

All these ads from $ky about the world cup in HD have me convinced, so I'm going to get a HD Freesat receiver. I'm currently looking at picking up a Humax HD receiver but was wondering if anybody had any other recommendations for a Freesat or FTA HD receiver.

Have you already got a High Definition telly?
If you're in the market for one, you can pick up some models with a built-in FreeSat tuner. You may have to get a UK version to get FreeSat.

If you want a hard-disk recording / dual tuners & high def, the Humax Foxsat-HDR is the way to go.

Plan to replace the remote at some point - its pretty poor. Take a look at the Logitech Harmony range for starters.

I have a HD tv already, I don't really need any recording abilities for the little amount I would use it, it just wouldn't be worth it.

I probably will pick up one of those remotes, if I see one cheap.

Humax hd box then. My remote is grand so far.

If you do not need recording just get a freesat HD box from grundig/goodmans
