How to install Cydia on a JB Iphone after Blackrain Icon was removed?

    Hi,

I have a Iphone 3GS (3.1.2) which I jb with blackra1n. Unfortunately at that time I was not interested in installing Cydia, and then removed the Blackrain Icon from the Iphone. (stupid, I know )

Now I intend to install Cydia as I have found a few apps I would like to install, but I have no idea how to get Cydia onto the iphone now. I tried to re-run Blackra1n, but the Icon on the Iphone doesn't reappear.

Any suggestions on how to best proceed?

    Regards,
    DubDani

yeah, dump blackrain, do a full restore and jailbreak with spirit.

Dont rush into Spirit jailbreak ..

Spirit is an untethered jailbreak for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch on the latest firmwares.
It is not a carrier unlock. Do not upgrade if you use an unlock on an iPhone.

Yeah, I used Blackrain to unlock it.

So except for a restore and starting from scratch there is no other way of installing cydia now?

think this may work if you use redsn0w you can just install cydia directly from that . might not work as your using blackra1n already though .
