Distribution Amplifier or Splitter

Looking for a bit of advice about wiring up a house for multiple tv points for a friend.
They currently have a vhf aerial in the attic and a uhf aerial outside.
Currently both of these are being fed into a diplexer and then a Wolsey 2 way distribution amp.
The cabling used is pretty old (40 years),its the old brown type coax cable with the honeycomb insulation and their analogue reception isnt great.
I want to send the signal to 2 extra rooms ,that will be 4 in total .
I plan to replace all the cabling with newer Rg6 so as it will be better for DTT.
I was planning on replacing the diplexer and the Wolsey amp with a new 2 in 4 out Distribution amplifier .
Would that be a good option or is there a better option ?
    Thanks

Yeah there's zero loss of signal. Uses about 5watts.
