Flying via Dublin? (Aer lingus) beware!

    If you are flying out via Dublin (Aer lingus) from any other airport in Ireland then take note of the internal baggage allowance, it is tiny, just beware it is easy to miss it on the hand baggage restrictions site...

    Cabin baggage is restricted to one piece per passenger, weighing under 10kgs/22lbs (7kgs/15lbs for Aer Lingus Regional flights) in total. The maximum dimensions for a cabin bag are 55cm x 40cm x 20cm or 22in x 16in x 8in (43cm x 28cm x 20cm or 17in x 11in x 8in for Aer Lingus Regional flights). It must fit into an overhead bin or under your seat. Excess cabin baggage is not permitted. These limits are strictly enforced.[/FONT][/FONT]


    So your Ryan-air hand baggage is too big and too heavy...
