Bought this there yesterday and watched it last night.

Must say that as a stand alone movie it did not really add anything to the programme. It probably would have been better as a miniseries. It honestly just felt like a bunch of used footage and some new stuff... and there wasnt enough six!
However the bit were cavill stabs the kid was ****ed up!

I agree big time with this. I thought it was going to fill in the Gallactica sized gap in my life but it just did not work for me. It was a glorified clips show with a few interesting moments here and there.

Tricia Helfer did look hot though :D:D

    It's on Sky One now.

I've gotten bored of it tho, don't think I'll watch the rest of it.
    Shame really.

On a plus there be bewbies.

clip show, enjoyable but well, BSG was better with a few questions unanswered i thought.

I also found myself a bit bored by The Plan. Nothing really new, just a bit of rehash. Not bad though.

Serious amount of nudity thrown in, thought I was watching spartacus there for a minute.

I liked it but only because of my love for BSG.

Ah this finally put the nail in the coffin for me. BSG had such a ropey ending, I hoped this would fill in the parts. Be set more before the series began, even centuries before it to present day. It done none of that, some of the scenes were taken from the tv show.

Very disappointed. And I watched all 2 hours. Not a patch on Razor, which wasnt even that create.

*I sound like a BSG hater. I loved it, just really disappointed by the last couple of episodes and made for tv movies

Also if you were new to BSG "the plan" kinda spoils a lot of the surprises in the series. As some one who has seen all the other stuff i really enjoyed it just as a fanboy but it didn't really fill any holes in the plot and it may ruin the show for newbies.

Just finished it. Agree that it doesn't fill the BSG void in my life........

HOWEVER................... I don't believe it was supposed to do so. It is merely an alternate view of the events of BSG. There were many events that were presented to us, The Plan lets us see those events. (Specifically Elen Tigh getting onto the fleet even though they split, the Cyclons killing the out of control battlestars, Sam becoming a rebel on Caprica, the Cylons collaborating together in the fleet, the Cyclons 'activating' their Sleeper agent)

This is complimentary to BSG, not stand alone. While not as good as I had hoped it is still welcome.

i don't think the plan was really needed. the ending of BSG was great but this kinda put a bad final memory of BSG in my mind.

must really start re-watching BSG again. that'll be something to watch for the summer.

just got the four seasons in high-def and re-watched them all in about 2-3 weeks :D
I think it's honestly better the 2nd time around..a lot of stuff I caught up on ..plus episodes which I thought was slow as hell turned out to be excellent in their own rights..
