Why???

Apart from the optical zoom,
the Tosh is slimmer and full HD, the Sanyo isnt

Well the optical zoom is a pretty big deal asis better flash/light, general build quality, picture quality, sound quality and of course the overall buggyness of toshiba firmware (freezing, turning itself off, refusing to switch off). 1080p from that camera isn't any great shakes especially when panning while the sanyo produces surprisingly good 720p video. IMO for the money the sanyo is an all round better video camera.

If it's slimness that you are looking for then the kodak you pointed to for approx €55 is a better option (have that too and it's tiny).

It's been that price in PowerCity for months. It's a decent camera for the money!
