    I recently bought a new (second hand) car from a dealers, about 10 days ago. It wasnt taxed when I bought it, and there was no expired tax disc either. So Ive been driving to and from work etc with no tax disc in the window.
    I checked the online form and it says that the change of ownership went through on the 12/5, but that the new VRC is "Awaiting Issue" since that date. Is this normal??

    TLDR? Is the below usual?

    Change Of Vehicle Ownership
    Transferred to an Individual on :

    Notified on : 12/05/2010

    12/05/2010 Vehicle Registration Certificate
    Vehicle Registration Certificate awaiting issue

    Never mind - the site has now updated showing that the VLC was sent on the 14/5.
    Must be an employee in there that reads this forum!!
