Can anyone confirm what the protest outside the Dun Laoghaire council offices today was all about ?

Tax the rich, not the poor was written on the placards IIRC

    Cheers.

I knew it was socialist-ey related event but just wondering if there was an actual issue or just general socialist-ey 'eat the rich' type stuff.

It may also have to do with this thread?

I did enjoy the irony of the protesters outside the CoCo offices. It was nice to see them being disrupted by the public in the same place they were disrupting us a few months ago :pac:

I really hope that was not a protest in favour of a family that chose to not pay one cent in rent for 2.5 yrs.

If there is a counter protest about how the council should have evicted them 2.4 years ago then count me in.
