Putting a webcam on a spotting scope

    Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum so mods please move if necessary and apologies.
I'm using a spotting scope at a zoom of around 45x at a distance of about 70ish metres,I have used a webcam (Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000) attached to the eye piece with some success at 30 metres but anything further away it just cannot seem to get a clear picture (even if I manually focus the webcam and spotting or a combination of both)also the screen on the laptop is approx 2.5 inches square, I'd really like to get a webcam which would give me a good picture at 70ish metres and also be able to use full screen on the laptop, this would save some people having to wait their turn to view, I hope my question makes sence to you guys, any advice or guidance would be really helpful and appreciated.
    Regards,
    Dezboz.
